Paul Sands After a successful audition to become the house band at The Green Man on Summerisle, Vanishing Faces are now eagerly anticipating the burning season.
What an exquisite pair of tracks. The bass beautifully underpins the harmony whilst a glistening cornucopia of instrumentation bejeweled the spaces in between.

To the Day 04:54

These two songs have been inspired by solstice celebrations at Stonehenge and Avebury in previous years. The pandemic means we can't go this year! To The Day fondly remembers our trips to these magical places and Midsummer Dream weaves our own song, set in these sacred landscapes, with the fairy's poem from the beginning of Act II, Scene I of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Just another way to celebrate the summer solstice.
